For all mothers who have been in my life, whether I have called you Mum, Teddy, or Mom, whether you have been a mother to me by birth or marriage; a mother to a child we shared; or those who I came to call my own, I honor all of you this day. Time or circumstance may keep us apart, but I love you all, and nothing will ever change that. I wish I could bring each of you flowers and share in this day, and perhaps I may be able to do so again, for that is my dearest wish.
Today, I particularly wish to remember those mothers who time has taken from us. I wish I could give each of these strong, loving women a rose on this day… Please know that I give one from my heart….
And for those others who have been, or remain in my life, I would give you flowers today if only I could. Have a wonderful Mother’s Day – each of you are precious to me, so let me at least give you some flowers taken from my garden over the years.
..and just as a postcript, please know that if your picture is not included today, it is only due to circumstance… I love you still, whatever else happened between her and me, and I hope one day that my appreciation for you again will be known. Happy Mother’s Day, K
